ONE STORAGE VOLUME WITH DATA PROTECTION

Designed with the protection of your data in mind The Safe Capsule is designed with RAID 1 mirroring technology that provides great protection of whatever is stored within. It holds two independent drives where one is the primary source for you to read data from and write data to and the secondary one mirrors and backs up all the data stored in the source. In other words, if one of the drive was to ever malfunction, you’ll always have the other as the spare to continue using.

Optional storage mode The optional non RAID mode allows you to set up the drives as two independent volumes where you may utilize each differently for various applications.

TWO STORAGE VOLUME

	User-friendly status indicator Besides the standard power and drive activity indicators, when a new drive has been replaced, the Safe Capsule allows you to know the percentage status of the rebuilding process in which data is being rebuilt to the newly replaced drive so the user is kept informed at all times.

Double the protection for your Time Machine® backups Use the Safe Capsule as an alternative storage for your Time Machine® backups. Simply designate it as your backup drive for the Time Machine® and whenever backups are needed, they will be directed to the Safe Capsule where you will get double the protection of your data stored via the RAID 1 functionality.

Sharable by multiple users Thanks to Time Capsule’s® networking capability, the Safe Capsule is sharable through either the Ethernet or wirelessly amongst your family members or co-workers to act as a central storage station and moreover, it’s also equipped with three USB 2.0 hub extensions for various sharable devices such as printers, flash drives and other USB peripherals.
